To quote Google's Webmaster site; "Welcome to your one-stop shop for comprehensive info about how Google crawls and indexes websites. You can learn here how to ensure that your site is easily crawled and indexed and access tools that will enable you to diagnose crawling issues, study statistics on how your site is doing in our index, and tell us how you'd like your site to be crawled and indexed." Matt Cutts Matt has a poll on his site about things that Webmaster Central users would want to change in upcoming revisions. Some of the suggestions include: information on penalties, duplicate content clarification, crawlability scores , and diagnostic wizards. Read and use the info to help your yahoo store! by: 1 Choice 4 Your Store Have you ever been on your site checking things out and all of a sudden you see something on that page that you need to change. Maybe you misspelled something. Maybe you forgot to put something in. So the normal course of action is to go back to the yahoo page. Click on store manager. Click on store editor. Now go find the page that you need to fix. BUT What if you had a small magic button on your site that nobody but you knew was there. When you click on this magic button it takes you into store editor directly to the page that you need to fix!! Saving you tons of time! First question…well what if a customer finds my magic button and clicks on it? Unless they have your log in information the only thing they would see is log in to yahoo stores and that is it. Next question…will the search engines see this button? They will see it but it will have a no follow tag attached so it will not hurt your SEO. Final question….Where will this button be at? They have sent out emails in the past but are apparently changing that process, as seen here at Google Webmaster Central. Danny Sullivan, at Search Engine Land even has chimed in about it here. Cookies will expire after two years rather than 31 years from now as previously planned. As you know I started this business to help the small business owner. I wanted to teach them how to be successful. Which is why you can basically learn how to do anything you want on our website for free. Which is why we have free online classes. I want to help you grow. We are opening a training center which will offer workshops on running your yahoo store, search engine optimization, html, conversion rates, rtml, and much more!! Our workshops will range from 4 hours to the entire weekend depending on the topic.These workshops will be designed to assist you in learning as much as you can while you are at our training center. I feel the most important thing we can do for you is to keep the workshop size VERY limited in the number of participants (up to 10 depending on the class). This way you can ask as many questions as What will you need to bring? If you have a laptop, bring it. This way you can save files directly on your computer. If you do not have a laptop, no worries!
