Linda Bustos from GetElastic posted a link yesterday on Twitter to a fantastic article on Blogging apps for the iPad.

As you all know, I highly recommend blogging as a way to connect with your customers, use as a home base for your social media marketing, and for search engine optimization.

There were several tools that I use on a regular basis and a few that I had not heard of. I went searching today for the original article and found a second. So let's discuss both!

1. The original 7 Essential iPad Apps for Blogging -
  • My favorite tool from this blog is Dropbox. Dropbox allows me to store my files that I need to access from any computer, iPad, or phone. This is a must have tool for busy store owners working from many locations.

  • My new favorite app is Pulse. This free app keeps you in the know and looks gorgeous too!

  • My I gotta use it more app is InstaPaper. This tool could really help all of us to create new blog articles. For instance, you see something on another article that makes you think of your own article. Hmm just like this one :)

2. 7 Amazing Apps for Blogging
  • My favorite tool from this post is Early Edition. It is the ONLY RSS feader I use. I set up all my feeds in Google then import. It is the best and easiest way to keep up with all my favorite bloggers.

  • My new favorite app is Splitbrowser. I have multiple screens open at all times when I am working and have always felt like I was missing out on something.

  • My I gotta use it more app is Evernote. I take notes all day and love my notes. This app would help me to get them all organized and in one place.

One app that was not mentioned that I use quite a bit is called Good Reader.

I use GoodReader for iPad to read all of my PDF documents. It is also a great file manager, txt file reader, and audio/video player.

Great app for staying on top of your field by always staying educated!

Do you have a favorite app that was not mentioned in the articles above that you use for blogging?
