My morning started out with an email from Marketing Experiments with some awesome conversion tips.

After signing up for their upcoming webinar (yes you should always be learning!!),  I came across two really great webinar rebroadcasts that you might enjoy:
  •  Homepages Optimized -

    Your homepage URL is likely directly connected to every dollar that flows out of your marketing budget. It's on TV commercials, business cards, even the side of a city bus.

    But is it optimized to meet your marketing goals? Or is your marketing campaign leaking revenue every time someone lands on your page?

  •  Optimizing Landing Pages -

    Why do customers buy? Why do they fill out a lead generation form? Heck, why did your spouse agree to marry you?

    Every action your customers take is essentially a "mini-conversion" and requires clear communication of value to guide your audience to the intended decision.

  • This Just Tested: An aesthetic design that produced 189% more leads - This link is for an article but, you can sign up for an upcoming webinar on the 22nd.
**Tip** If you are wondering what your conversion rate should be - It should be your current rate plus constant increases.

It doesn't matter if that increase is by .1% or 100%.

Each website is different and attracts different types of customers. There is no "right" answer. So focus on your current conversion rate plus making constant increases.
