The law of attraction states that you will attract into your life--whether wanted or unwanted--whatever you give your energy, focus, and attention to.

You are constantly giving off vibrations of energy when you think and feel. These vibrations can be picked up and received by other people. That's why people say, "he has good vibes," or "he gives off bad vibes." You are constantly giving off vibrations -- literally!

If you're feeling excited, enthusiastic, passionate, happy, joyful, loving, appreciative, abundant, prosperous, relaxed and peaceful, you are giving off positive vibrations.

On the other hand, if you're feeling bored, anxious, worried, confused, sad, lonely, hurt, angry, resentful, guilty, disappointed, frustrated, overwhelmed, stressed out, or depressed, then you are giving off negative vibrations.

The law of attraction states that the universe responds to whatever you are offering -- by giving you more of whatever you are vibrating. It doesn't care whether it is good for you or not; it simply responds to your vibration.

If you saw the film The Secret, you saw this explained in great detail.

The problem is that most of the time, you are not aware of what vibration you are offering. You are simply responding to things outside of you--current events, the news, how people treat you, the stock market, how much money you are making, how your children are doing in school, whether or not your favorite sports team wins--and then having a feeling that is either positive or negative.

When you are simply responding unconsciously to what happens around you, you tend to stay "stuck" in your current condition. This is why most people's lives never seem to change very much. They get stuck in a repeating cycle of recreating the same reality over and over by the vibration they are sending out.

It works like this... First you observe what you currently have and are currently receiving in your life. You call this your "reality." You respond to what you observe with a feeling, positive or negative, which then gives off that vibration to the universe. The law of attraction then responds to this vibration and brings you more of what you were vibrating. This keeps the cycle going over and over, until you choose to change it through the exertion of your will. You are a victim of your lack of awareness of the law of attraction.

The Process of Intentional Creation

It is possible to get out of this vicious cycle and create what you want instead of continually recreating what you already have. It is a simple, three-step process that you can begin immediately.

If you've been implementing the action steps I coach you through in The KEY to Living the Law of Attraction, you have already begun this process.

Step 1: Identify what you truly desire & eliminate the negative

It is important to focus on what you want rather than what you don't want. You must state it in the positive and filter out the words don't, not and no. Remember, your mind works in pictures and if you say I don't want to be mad, you are creating the picture and thus the vibration of being mad. You must create the opposite of what you don't want.

Step 2: Raise your vibration level

Your job in stage two is to create a vibrational match for that which you say you want to have. How would you be feeling if you already had those things--the perfect job, the perfect relationship, the amount of money that you want to have?

Your job is to identify what makes you feel good and do more of it, then learn not to tolerate your negative feelings.

Affirmations are an important component in raising your vibrational level to what it is you want. Remember, the law of attraction does not respond to the words you use or the thoughts you think. It simply responds to how you feel about what you say and how you feel about what you think.

For information on how to create even more effective affirmations, review chapter 10 in The Key to Living the Law of Attraction, where you'll find my guidelines for creating effective visualizations.

Step 3. Release it and allow it.

In this third step, you simply release your affirmation, your vibration, and your feelings to the universe to take care of your "request" or "order" as I call it. But you have to abstain from any doubts. If you doubt you can have it in any way, then you are not allowing it. You are pushing it away and you end up with contradictory messages to the universe.

It is only when the contradictory thoughts, talk, and images are removed that your desired results will manifest. The faster you remove your resistance, the faster your dreams can be realized.

I absolutely love the new coupon manager in the Yahoo Store - and I also hate it at times too *laughing*

The 50% off coupon code "seoweb" from our Finding Keywords Webinar and SEO Webinar was not working on certain products. We fixed all of the issues and extended the coupon until this Friday.

The coupon is good for anything in our Learning Center and we have over 30 video tutorial series covering everything from Twitter, SEO, Video Marketing, and Content Creation.

We also have lots of Do-It-Yourself Kits and free e-books as well from Seth Godin, Claude Hopkins, and yours truly.

Check it out by going to:

I also have been very busy over the weekend publishing several videos on YouTube.

I uploaded videos about Twittering for Business, TweetDeck, Yahoo Stores Product-Url, and a whole lot more.

You can see those at:

If there is a subject we haven't covered yet, make sure to give me a shout on Twitter and let me know. I will be more than happy to create the education you are wanting!

Take care of yourself for now and I hope to talk with you soon.

Ever notice the Product-Url field in your Yahoo Store?

It provides Yahoo! Shopping with the url of your product and provides the url of the product used for the "Keep Shopping" link in checkout.

**Special Note** Most Yahoo Stores are picked up by Yahoo Shopping for FREE so make sure that you fill out the Product-URL field!!!

However, updating this field on each and every page by hand.... forget it!

There is a quick and easy way to do this with Excel.

Check out the video tutorial below or have us take care of it for you.

Did you ever hear about the woman who sold $7 worth of Pokemon cards for over $100??

She told a story. She told a VERY funny story about having to go shopping with her 6 kids and all the headaches that followed.

"You haven’t lived until you’ve gone grocery shopping with six kids in tow. I would rather swim, covered in bait, through the English Channel, be a contestant on Fear Factor when they’re having pig brains for lunch, or do fourth grade math than to take my six kids to the grocery store. Because I absolutely detest grocery shopping, I tend to put it off as long as possible. There comes a time, however, when you’re peering into your fridge and thinking, ‘Hmmm, what can I make with ketchup, Italian dressing, and half an onion,’ that you decide you cannot avoid going to the grocery store any longer. Before beginning this most treacherous mission, I gather all the kids together and give them “The Lecture“."

Jeff Sexton from FutureNow wrote an awesome post entitled, "Can Copy Create (added) Value On It's Own?"

If you haven't read it yet, do it now and pay close attention to when he starts talking about applying what we have learned to normal products.

The truth is, you can tell your own unique story with any product and increase sales.

Here are two great examples:

  • Cozy Bedtime Story - Click on the tab "Bedtime Story" and you will see they are literally telling their customers a story. This is a great way of creating unique content for SEO and increasing conversion rates. Now picture this, a mother innocently starts reading and tells her child to come over and listen to this wonderful story. The child listens and loves it. Story ends - what does the child want? The product that comes with it! BRILLIANT!!

  • Gun Dog Supply - The entire website is focused on telling you a story from the moment you "walk" in. The home page tells you how they got started. You immediately learn the owner is an "expert" because he is out there hunting with you and using the products too. The website interacts with you by showing you the owner out hunting with the product with video, images, and text. You feel like you are out in the woods with Steve. Want to know if a product sucks - yep he tells you that too. You trust him immediately and you buy from him whether he is the lowest price guy or not - BRILLIANT!!

Now go back to your website and take a look at your products.

What story can you tell?

What information can you give about your products?

Remember, your hard work will only increase your search engine rankings and conversion rates.

What do you have to lose?

Many Store owners have contacted us over the last week after noticing that their products are no longer showing up in Google Product Search.

As of June 30th, Google is now requiring that the condition field be included in your data feeds.
If you have a Yahoo Store, this is a very simple and easy fix.

Plus once completed, your Yahoo Store will continue to upload all of your products into the Google Product Search so that you can continue to get free traffic.

We have created a video tutorial showing you step by step how to enable the condition field in your Yahoo Store.

This morning I was reading an article from called, "Ecommerce Industry Braces for Change – Online Transaction Made Difficult"

Here is a quick summary:

The Reserve Bank in India is forcing all online transactions to have an extra level of authentication. Online shoppers will NOT be able to use their debit/credit card unless they register with their bank.

Visa uses technology called Verified by Visa and MasterCard uses SecureCode.

Now, I realize this change effects India ONLY at this point. However, how long until these rules and guidelines are forced upon us as well?

"This move will surely impact the ecommerce players in the short run (hopefully limited to short run only)– many shoppers will simply ditch the buying decision at the checkout process."

Although the author of the article felt that sales would only be affected in the short run, I respectfully disagree.

A change like this will affect ecommerce until a much better alternative is created.

Have you ever tried to use the Verified by Visa or SecureCode?

Let me tell you about my recent experience - FAIL

I was on the Delta website booking my flight for Search Engine Strategies San Jose.

The flight was free thanks to miles, but I still had to pay a $10 ticket fee for each ticket. I get to the very end and put in my credit card information for a $20 purchase. I get to the "SecureCode" area and I do not have a password yet.

No problem, I will set one up.

I am entering in all of the information correctly and yet, it will not accept the information. After TWO attempts, it blocks me out and sends me back to the website to put in another credit card.

I am VERY frustrated, but no problem. I am an experienced online shopper. I can handle this.

However, when I am taken back to the Delta website... they want me to call their customer service number instead.

I call their customer service number only to be told that they cannot bypass the SecureCode and I have to purchase online.

PROBLEM - The Delta cart has now LOST my itinerary that took me 45 minutes to put together and the customer service rep says, "You will just have to start over."

If I was purchasing ANYTHING else, I would have left immediately and paid double if I had to. All this trouble for $20???

However, my purchase was not for $20. I was actually getting 2 First Class tickets from Chicago to San Jose for $20.

As I cursed the screen, Delta, my credit card, my bank, and anyone else listening.... I started all over again.

Now imagine your customer trying to purchase something on your website and going through the same BS. Do you think they will bother to call you? If the credit card industry and our government decide to force this security upon us, how will you be affected?

I have a feeling that services like PayPal will be utilized more by customers and ecommerce owners alike.

My question to you, are you offering your customers alternative choices for making payments on your website? Do you offer PayPal as a form of payment?

Remember, you never want to give your customers a reason NOT to buy from you.

Hello :)

My dear friends over at Worldwide Brands are putting together an awesome (and educational) webinar series that begins tonight.

Worldwide Brands is the ONLY website that I recommend to our customers when they are looking for products to sell online, They had my back when I was looking for dropshippers 9 years ago and I would literally not be here today without them.

Their focus on education inspired the 1 Choice website and all of the education we offer. I remember going to their website years and years ago wondering why nobody offered this vast amount of information on Yahoo Stores like they did on product sourcing.

And 1 Choice was created!! I asked them to write an email especially to our customers telling a little bit more about what they are doing. I think you will find it very exciting and I am proud and honored to be a part of it as well!

P.S. If you have missed any of the 1 Choice Webinars, you can catch the rebroadcasts at:

Dear 1Choice customers,

You are invited....

Shawna and I have been lucky enough to be able to grow our own companies and help others grow their own e-businesses. Along the way, we've learned many great things about successful entrepreneurs.

The common fuel that fires us all to succeed is the desire to create our own independence. In honor of that drive for success, we've created a special free webinar series called Sourcing For Independence. I'd like to personally invite you to attend the free webinars.

You'll have the opportunity to ask your questions to leading industry experts (including Shawna :) ) about topics from understanding how to setup your business, to picking your first product to sell, to sourcing the right products to sell on Amazon, eBay and through Yahoo! Stores. We'll even show you how to optimize your product descriptions and data feeds for your Yahoo! Store.

Each webinar is going to be HANDS ON, purely educational, and will show you how to do it and what you need to know.

Tomorrow, I'll be talking about getting started online, and then on Monday I'll be talking about setting your business up legally the right way.

Please come join me over the next few weeks. I look forward to helping you with your questions.

Just register for each webinar that you're interested on this page:

To your success,

Colette Marshall
